Twilight Music

Painted as a tribute to Marc Chagall and Fernand Léger, this symphony of color, form, and figure exuberantly portrays each day’s twilight hours of soft dark shadows and quickly fading light.

Throughout the painting, musical instruments abound – violin, clarinet, banjo, and tambourine – giving an almost auditory accompaniment to the dynamic, visual composition.
