Three Clowns

Simultaneously performing together and alone, three clowns wearing the paint and costumes of their craft attempt to bring joy to any who stop to look.

While two of them are engaged in playing puppet-on-a-string, the foremost clown holds up a single flower of meadow-saffron… the symbol of ephemeral happiness.
